Each year the Provisional Class of the Junior Guild develops a project to improve the community. The 2014-2015 class decided literacy was an area they would like to improve so the initiated "Little Libraries." The class worked with others to build shelters that would house books throughout the community. The first Little Library was dedicated on May 19, 2015. Families participated in games and crafts organized by the members. A cookout with hot dogs and hamburgers with all the trimmings was served. A professional family portrait was provided by one of the members as well. A good time was had by all. |
